Our mission
The word ‘utawaleza’ is the Chichewa word for rainbow 🌈 – signifying the vibrant creativity that can be inspired by cultivating a culture of reading and sparking one’s imagination.
It is our belief that imagination and creativity are the keys to unlocking the potential and social development of young people. Through literature, the arts and cultural research, our mission is to inspire great young minds and nurture a vibrant future for Malawi.
