Our mission
The word ‘utawaleza’ is the Chichewa word for rainbow 🌈 – signifying the vibrant creativity that can be inspired through cultivating a culture of reading, promoting self-expression and expanding one’s imagination through art.
We believe that imagination and creativity are the keys to unlocking the potential and wellbeing of young people. Through literature, the arts and cultural research, our mission is to inspire great minds and nurture a vibrant future for Malawi.
